We Won’t Budge on Adding THIS to Your Wedding Timeline

We are very flexible when it comes to a wedding day - it’s your way, 110% of the time. We want to accommodate and bring to life every piece of your dream celebration. There is one moment of the wedding day, though, we do insist on - the private bite.

Right after you say YES, the wedding bells ring and everyone cheers, you typically go right into taking extended family photos. This is easiest because your family members are already close to the ceremony spot, which is where these photos usually happen. After taking these portraits, and maybe squeezing in some more couples photos around the venue, we’ll escort you straight to THE PRIVATE BITE.

A private bite is the 15-30 minutes before the reception begins, where our team whisks you away security-guard style to the dressing suite where you got earlier the morning of. This is also super helpful because we’ll start to transition guests from cocktail hour to the reception space - and yes, trust us, this takes a while.

You’ll have a plate of fresh, warm apps waiting for you & cocktails (if you’d like) in the suite. We’ll then bustle any dresses, help with any touch-ups, and leave you ALONE for 15-30 minutes. No one is allowed in or out of the private bite, no exceptions.

Why?

Life comes at you fast, and the wedding day goes by even faster. Our couples consistently share that without the private bite, they’d never have the time to just straight-up talk to each other on their wedding day. And that makes sense - you’ve just planned this epic party with all of your favorite people, and of course you want to celebrate with them! But this private bite gives you the chance to simply EXIST with each other.

Practice your first dance? Great idea.

Place bets on who gets on the dance floor first? Totally.

Coexist in silence and just sit and eat and drink? Sure.

Steal and sneak in a few more kisses? Yes, please!

However you choose to spend this small moment on your wedding day, we want you to have it. And we’ll do whatever it takes to make sure this stays on your timeline.

The Bottom Line: Don’t move the Private Bite.

Trust that our little quiet moment for you here is worth it in the long run. And if you found this blog post and we are not planning your wedding, consider asking your planner or whoever is in charge to incorporate this block of time into your schedule. You’ll thank us later ;)
