We worked alongside Molly & Loring to bring their wedding day vision to life at the historic VanLandingham Estate in Charlotte, NC. The bride & groom wanted their design to stem from the green and brown shades of the house and relied on Margo at Malaya Floral to use deep green hues, shades of chocolate brown, and a mix of stone and marble textures to put a modern touch on a timeless venue. A large hanging chandelier installation welcomed guests to the classic black and white dance floor after a ceremony in the front garden. For portraits, Molly & Loring snuck off to the secluded greenhouse at the back of the property. When they returned, the real party started. Molly’s sweet sister stated in her toast: “Loring is a mirror and Loring amplifies the light that Molly brings into any room and lets her keep shining. It’s really easy to come into a relationship and have someone dim your light and I’ve never ever felt that about Loring and Molly - just that Loring makes Molly brighter than she was before.” It's true - Loring lets Molly shine, and their love for each other and their guests was palpable. The sun set, the DJ opened the dance floor, and the new Mr. & Mrs. danced the fall September night away.
